New companies are coming up with amazing inventions that are meant to rival the existing ones. New products and gadgets are being developed all the time. With all this happening, will Apple manage to cope with the rising competition on their iPhone?

Apple has had some stiff competition, and some of its closest competitors are the Google Nexus One, the Palm Pre, and the Droid.

But do these have the power to overtake the iPhone?

There are some features that make the iPhone much more superior than its competitors. Clearly the iPhone 3G has longer battery life than its closest competitors; the Google Nexus One and Droid. Also, with the rich iPhone apps store and the immense media compatibility features, dethroning the iPhone as the best and most popular smart phone will not happen soon.

As much as they have dominated the Smartphone market, to remain superior and rule the Smartphone industry, Apple has the biggest challenge of keeping its development team on their toes. Continually, they need to come up with new ideas to rival their competitors and keep producing newer versions and more amazing innovations.
