I ought to start off by acknowledging that Google has been good to me over the years. If a complete novice like me can build a couple of hobby websites and turn those into a fantastic second income, then who am I to complain. Five years of easy living off the back of terms like “how to get a free iPhone” and “find the best iPhone deals” can’t be bad after all.
That doesn’t make it any easier when SERPS drop like a stone and the income goes with it of course. I’d always been an aggressive link builder and perhaps let content slip, so it was easy for the Panda to kick me with his eats, shoots and leaves philosophy. Suffice it to say that around a year ago, my rankings and traffic dropped like the proverbial stone. I’d seen some recovery over recent months but further updates have put me back in the box, hence the “the search for iPhone deals is over” headline.
There are plenty of fantastic iPhone offers out there and if you are lucky enough to stumble across my site here, then you will find the best of them. Unfortunately, you might have to be on page 5 of Google search to find me!
So, what am I going to do about it? Quite frankly I don’t know, as I said in a post elsewhere this evening, the SEO road is still there but Google has stolen my Tom Tom. I’m lost!
It’s been a blast though, so I’ve got to keep smiling. As will you if you read around and maybe grab yourself an iPhone totally free!
