iPhone HD or iPhone 4G release?

We reported yesterday’s rumours of an iPhone 4G release date over the summer of 2010 but had been blind to talk of the iPhone HD. It seems that they are one and the same…(goes off with embarrassed look on our faces!)….
The free iPhone 4G is going to sport a screen with double the resolution (960×640 pixels) of the current iPhone range, which will provide HD quality images. Quite how that would look on such a small screen or the impact on battery life is uncertain right now.
Although the increase will leave the Nexus One lagging behind yet again, there have to be questions about day to day use. Looking on the positive side, imagine how good still pictures would look and, if they ever implement it, an iSight webcam.
It’s perhaps disingenuous to use iPhone 4G and iPhone HD interchangeably, one refers network technology and the other simply display. In theory, however, combining the two could give streamed, high quality media content at up to 100Mbps.
Every man and his dog are speculating right now, including us. That’s just what the doctor ordered for Apple and they have historically changed the iPhone over the summer, so an update is definitely on the cards.

i havnt hear of the iphone HD before. sounds intresting, but i dont think that i would like it to be that big, i tihnk the size of the original iphone is perfect.
i realy hope it comes out soon, and i hope it is called 4G i dont like the sound of HD unless they have made some new HD feature which could be good.
I recently bought a domain with 4G in it, so if it ends up to be HD then i wasted 8 pounds!

I didn’t have a 4G picture at the time !
It is my first time to see this iPhone HD and I think many would like to have this latest model. However, are there some disadvantages that the new phone has? I really would like to know more about this new iPhone.
Screen with the resolution of 960×640 pixels!! But like it has stated here, how would it look on such a small phone screen? More and more having a cam-coder or digital camera seems silly. Same as above, i would like to know more about HD or 4D iPhone!
