Free Spirit Jailbreak for iPhone and iPad

Apple’s security measures are never going to defeat the jailbreakers for long and firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and 3.2 have now been cracked with Spirit, once again brought to us by the amazing Dev Team, who were behind the iPhone 3GS unlock.
A step by step tutorial is already feature on YouTube and includes shots of a root shell with full access to the iPad and iPhone.
The homebrew equivalent app store on jailbroken machines in called Cydia and features a plethora of apps that Apple would be wise to implement/approve. There certainly is some major talent in the homebrew coding World and Apple would do well to embrace that.
There’s no need to jailbreak everytime you swith your device off, you’ll be please ot hear that Spirit is unthetherd.
Just to end with the normal caveat, use jailbreaks and unlocks totally at your own risk. You may one day need a warranty if you battery goes, or could render the device useless. Unlikely but possible!
Apple will void your warranty, which you will need if you need to replace the battery.
I guess if the worst happens, you can always get yourself a free iPhone or free iPad!

This is a big part of the iphone’s success in my view. If it was uncrackable then it would lose some appeal to a large proportion of the market
That’s good to know. I was having trouble with mine on 3.1.3 but thanks to the great guys at spirit it’s on form again!
Really good but dangerous if you creash it and need a repair.
